Snow Clearance
Preventative gritting is all well and good but in recent years, the UK has been hit by deluges of
snow followed by Arctic temperatures which have hindered with thawing snow.
We have invested in 2 snow ploughs mounted on 4x4 mini tractors, with their high torque
and low centre of gravity, they are ideal for clearing snow before the gritting teams apply salt
to aid thawing. Tilbrooks have also invested in a new pedestrian plough for footpaths and of
course some new shovels.
Remember, unlike some contractors Tilbrooks DO NOT Sub-Contract any gritting or snow plough works, allowing us to know exactly where each crew is and when they can be expected to arrive at each site.
