Tilbrooks have worked with many ecologist companies over the years, mainly at Cambourne helping
to re-locate Great Crested Newts, but more recently we have been building hibernaculars for wildlife
parks and in particular, a badger set.
The badgers had taken up residence on an area of land ear marked for redevelopment so we were called in to
build a new badger set for them.
the set was made out of concrete blocks and had several 'bed rooms' and entrance tunnels, it was then
re-covered with topsoil and seeded and planted to help it blend in with the landscape.
Once the set was built and all the Badgers had been relocated, the old set was destroyed to
prevent the Badgers re-settling
