Gritting Management
Throughout the year our Gritting Management Team work closely with our clients establishing what can be improved year on year, we plan site visits to ensure access is still available and to see if any changes have been made to the site layout.
Between 31st October and 1st April we monitor Met Office weather forecasts twice a day, increasing this if bad weather is forecast, we also check highways cameras for the areas we cover to monitor road conditions, allowing us to send gritting teams out earlier if needed.
During the "Weather Watch" months we operate a 24 hour help desk staffed by our
management team to enable us to respond swiftly to any calls. We do not charge a
monthly fee for this, nor do we charge a call out fee, just the standard gritting or
snow clearing charge.
